Office of Veterans Services Update

At this time, we are experiencing transition in our Office of Veterans Services.  Our commitment and support to our student veterans, active duty military service members and their dependents remains our number one priority.

For the next several weeks the Veterans Student Lounge and computer lab within the Office of Veterans Services (room 105, Veterans Hall, Toledo-area Campus) will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. for regular use.

The office will be staffed from 12 – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for general questions and support.  Jessica Ruffner, Manager of Prior Learning Assessment, will be present during these hours to provide direct customer service.   In addition, Cindy Charlton, Associate Registrar, will be our School Certifying Official (SCO) during this time of transition.

Students who have specific questions may contact vets@owens.edu for assistance. This email account is being monitored and answers will be provided.

Students on the Findlay-area Campus and Downtown Learning Center, may visit the Office of Veterans Services on the Toledo-area Campus during the hours of 12 – 4 p.m. for general assistance, or email vets@owens.edu with specific questions.
